ADHD Operations Manager

London (NW1) | 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract

£64,000 – £68,000 per annum (depending on experience)

An established NHS provider is launching a new Adult ADHD Diagnosis & Treatment Service under NHS Right to Choose and is seeking an exceptional Operations Manager to support the mobilisation, leadership and growth of this national service.

This is more than an operational role.

The Opportunity

You will provide operational leadership for a national Adult ADHD Service, working closely with clinical leaders to ensure safe, compliant, high-quality and efficient care delivery across multiple Integrated Care Boards (ICBs).

The role involves leading teams, managing performance, mobilising new services, strengthening governance and contributing to the ongoing development of digital mental health services.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the ADHD operational team
  • Manage service mobilisation and day-to-day operations
  • Ensure CQC compliance, governance and quality standards
  • Oversee performance management, rotas, reporting and SLAs
  • Work collaboratively with ICBs, finance, BI and digital teams
  • Drive continuous service improvement and innovation
  • Lead recruitment, appraisals and performance management
  • Manage complaints, audits and service development initiatives


About You:

You will be an experienced healthcare operations leader with:

  • Senior-level operational management experience
  • Experience within mental health and/or ADHD services
  • A strong track record of leading multidisciplinary teams
  • In-depth knowledge of governance, CQC and quality improvement
  • Confidence managing hybrid teams and national contracts
  • A passion for innovation and service development
  • Experience mobilising new healthcare services
