Graduate Recruitment Consultant (Jan 2026 Start)

Summit Rec2Rec is looking for a Graduate Recruitment Consultant (Jan 2026 Start)

Job description

Graduate Recruitment Consultant – 2026 Intake

London | Russell Group Graduates | ⚽ Sporting/Society Backgrounds Encouraged

Ready to launch a career where your effort directly impacts your earnings? At Summit, we represent a range of leading recruitment agencies across London in high-growth sectors such as FinTech, Legal, Technology, Executive Search and Professional Services.

Think of recruitment like this: the whole point is to earn as much money as possible. To do that, you want to become a specialist in a sector that’s booming and pays top commission. It’s a no-brainer.

What we’re looking for:

  • 2025 Graduates from a Russell Group university (Bachelor’s or Master’s)
  • Confident communicators who can build rapport quickly
  • Sporting backgrounds or society involvement, ideally in administrational/committee roles
  • Competitive, resilient, and motivated to succeed in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment

What you’ll be doing:

  • Learning recruitment from the ground up with full training and mentorship
  • Building relationships with clients and candidates in your chosen high-value sector
  • Becoming a subject matter specialist to maximise your earning potential
  • Hitting targets, closing deals, and celebrating your wins with the team

What’s on offer:

  • Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission from day one
  • A structured training and career progression plan designed to fast-track success
  • Access to high-performing London recruitment agencies via Summit’s network
  • A vibrant, social culture with regular incentives, team nights out, and rewards
  • The opportunity to carve out a career in a sector that pays serious commission

Recruitment is a highly competitive industry, and securing an introductory call with Summit is an opportunity to gain deeper insight into the profession. That said, candidates must come well prepared—having researched the recruitment industry and able to clearly articulate their motivation for pursuing a career in this space.

Recruitment is not for everyone. It requires a high-performance, winning mindset and resilience in a demanding environment. While it is often perceived as a people-focused role—and to an extent it is—the reality is that recruitment is predominantly sales-driven. Success depends on being commercially sharp, hungry to perform, receptive to constructive feedback, and motivated by results, targets, and commission. This career path best suits individuals who thrive under pressure, are deal-focused, and are driven by the challenge of securing placements, closing deals, and achieving strong financial rewards.
