Role- Electrical Design Engineer

Salary- £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience, please advise)

Type- Permanent

Location- Staffordshire

My client work within engineering and they are looking to take on an Electrical Design Engineer to develop as part of their team.

The Electrical Design Engineer role will ideally have the following attributes:

• Apprenticeship / HNC/ HND / BTEC / City & Guilds / Degree qualification or similar in Electrical Engineering
• Have previous experience carrying out electrical design
• Have experience working with control panels
• Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, EPlan or SolidWorks Electrical
• Good hands-on electrical skills to be able to be involved with commissioning too
• Excellent problem solving capabilities
• Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
• Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written

The Electrical Design Engineer role will involve:

• Working within the existing engineering team
• Producing detailed design specifications for control panels – working with CAD
• Ordering in parts when required
• Assisting with commissioning when required too
