Role:


At The Bloc, the Account Manager will play a key role in the day-to-day management of accounts, projects, and client relationships, working across key UK accounts in close collaboration with our European and US affiliates and teams.


Responsibilities:


  • Work with Account Director to prepare status reports and contact reports for internal and client distribution
  • Monitor and follow-up with all aspects of tactical development
  • Communicate appropriate client direction to creative team for project implementation
  • Develop and maintain production plans and timelines for agency team
  • Prepare estimates and approve all invoices for jobs, circulating to client for appropriate approvals
  • Regularly track budgets and ensure accurate monthly billing
  • Support new business pitches
  • Collaborate closely with the internal team on projects, ensuring rigor and accuracy in content.
  • Maintain and update competitive materials, providing updates and implications to internal and client team as appropriate
  • Identifying client needs and new business opportunities and potential clients for growth
  • Develop good working relationships with agency team members, and client departments (i.e., regulatory, production, editorial).
  • Ensure adherence to internal agency policies and procedures


Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field
  • 2+ years Agency or related healthcare/pharmaceutical experience required
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to create successful internal and external client relationships
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong writing and effective communication skills
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • High emotional intelligence and communication skills; comfortable presenting, facilitating, and influencing across all levels.
  • Willing to spend 2 days a week in person with the London team, and to travel as necessary
  • English. Second language as a plus
