We're now looking for a skilled MET Technician to join our expanding team in Preston.


What You’ll Be Doing

As an MET (Mechanical, Electrical & Trim) Technician, you’ll play a key role in restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Dismantling and reassembling mechanical, electrical, and trim components with precision and care
  • Performing four-wheel alignment checks and repairs using manufacturer-recommended methods
  • Ensuring vehicles are properly protected throughout the repair process
  • Collaborating with Technicians, Vehicle Damage Assessors, and Production teams to ensure efficient workflows
  • Adhering to health and safety standards, including COSHH requirements and appropriate PPE usage
  • Working with electric vehicles and staying updated on emerging vehicle technologies


About You

We’re looking for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and thrives in a team environment. Ideally, you’ll have:

  • IMI/ATA MET Technician qualification (or equivalent experience in a Bodyshop environment)
  • Proven experience in accident repair and vehicle rebuilds
  • A full UK driving licence (required)
  • The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • A strong commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
  • Knowledge and/or experience working with electric vehicles is a plus

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8-hour shifts (no weekends!)
