In this role, you’ll be the technical authority — owning the design of complex digital and analogue electronics, driving integration, and ensuring compliant, high-performance solutions are delivered with confidence.

What You’ll Be Driving

• Designing and developing digital & analogue circuits, PCBs, and complete electronic systems.
• Leading projects from concept through design, manufacture, and customer acceptance.
• Owning systems integration with hands-on troubleshooting and fault-finding.
• Collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners, including test houses.
• Ensuring compliance with CE / UKCA, EMC, RoHS, and Safety standards.
• Producing high-quality technical documentation — schematics, BOMs, and change notes.
• Presenting confidently at design reviews and leading technical discussions.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven senior-level experience in digital and analogue electronics design.
• Strong proficiency with OrCAD (or similar schematic capture & PCB design tools).
• Solid understanding of legislative and regulatory compliance (UKCA/CE, EMC, RoHS, Safety).
• Excellent hands-on skills with strong systems integration and fault-finding capability.
• Degree in Electronics, Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• Current live UK Security Clearance (SC) — DV eligibility essential.
• Experience working with MoD customers and defence standards
• (Sonar experience is a strong advantage).
• Confident communicator with a collaborative, problem-solving mindset.
