Senior Mechanical Engineer (Building Services)

Full-time | Permanent

£40k–£55k DOE

About Us

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a growing building design consultancy based in Birmingham, delivering sustainable MEP and multidisciplinary projects across commercial, residential, education, and healthcare sectors.

The Role

• Lead mechanical design (HVAC, plumbing, public health)
• Coordinate with in-house and external teams
• Support project delivery, client meetings, and mentoring juniors
• Ensure compliance with UK regs and sustainable design standards

What You’ll Need

• Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering
• Chartered or working toward CEng (CIBSE/IMechE)
• Experience in a UK building design consultancy
• Strong Revit, AutoCAD, Hevacomp, IES or similar software skills
