Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Bid Manager, you will lead strategic bids and proposals from start to finish, ensuring high-quality, client-focused submissions. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead strategic opportunities, from bid planning and strategy sessions to submission delivery.
- Shape win strategies, storyboards, key differentiators, and compelling client value propositions.
- Challenge and support technical teams to produce clear, persuasive content.
- Manage bid governance, compliance, quality reviews, and timelines to ensure robust submissions.
- Drive continuous improvement in bid tools, processes, and sector collateral.
- Capture lessons learned and ensure best practice is shared across the team.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing bids in the built environment or professional services sectors.
- Strong stakeholder management skills at senior levels.
- Excellent editorial and writing skills, able to turn technical input into client-focused content.
- Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; InDesign is a plus.
- Familiarity with APMP best practices
