Lead .NET Engineer - Hybrid - £700/day Inside IR35 | WeathTech Platform | Digital Wealth | Azure | Angular | Microservice Architecture

We’re seeking a Lead .NET Engineer to join a cutting-edge WealthTech platform on a contract basis. This is a hands-on technical role, driving the development and delivery of high-performance investment and portfolio management solutions.

Location: London, hybrid

Contract Length: Initially 12 months

Day Rate: £700/day Inside IR35

About the Role:

As a Lead .NET Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the architecture, development, and deployment of core features on a digital wealth and investment platform. You will work closely with product owners, data teams, and other developers to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant solutions for investors and advisors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of. NET-based backend systems for investment, portfolio, and tax-efficient schemes (EIS/SEIS).
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable APIs and services that support high-volume transactions and real-time calculations.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Tech Leads to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience with C#/.NET Core and associated frameworks.
• Proven experience building and maintaining financial or investment platforms.
• Strong Experience with Angular
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and data modeling.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms Azure and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of financial regulations, investment products, or EIS/SEIS schemes is highly desirable.
