Internal Ironmongery Sales – Aspex Scotland

Location: Cumbernauld, Glasgow

About the Role:

Aspex Scotland is looking for an experienced Internal Ironmongery Sales professional to join our expanding Ironmongery & Doorset Division in Cumbernauld. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for precision and quality in the architectural ironmongery industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Liaison: Work closely with customers, including main contractors, joinery contractors, and door/window fabricators, to address their needs.
• Quotations & Orders: Prepare accurate customer quotations and place purchase orders with our suppliers.
• Project Management: Manage and support commercial ironmongery projects from start to finish.
• Product Preparation: Ensure ironmongery is packaged and ready for delivery to site.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Industry Experience: Proven experience in architectural ironmongery.
• GAI Diploma: GAI Diploma in architectural ironmongery (preferred but not essential).
• Timber Doorsets: Experience with commercial timber doorsets is a plus.
• IT Skills: Proficiency in Word, Excel, and other basic IT tools.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and in-person communication skills.
• Teamwork & Independence: Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Driving Licence: A valid full UK driving licence is required.

Desirable:

• Previous experience in managing commercial ironmongery projects.
• Familiarity with preparing ironmongery and doorsets for delivery.
