Job description

A specialist building services consultancy is currently seeking an experienced MEP BIM Coordinator to join their team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong Revit professional to play a key role in the coordination and delivery of high-quality building services projects.


The Role

As an M&E BIM Coordinator, you will be responsible for the coordination and development of detailed mechanical and electrical models, working closely with engineers and project teams to ensure accurate, clash-free and fully coordinated BIM deliverables.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage detailed M&E Revit models across multiple projects
  • Produce high-quality 3D models and associated drawings to a high level of detail
  • Work collaboratively with mechanical and electrical engineers to resolve design and coordination issues
  • Lead model coordination and clash detection processes
  • Maintain and help develop BIM standards, templates, and workflows
  • Support the wider business in the effective use and development of Revit and BIM processes


Skills & Experience

  • 2–5 years’ experience in an MEP BIM / Revit-based role
  • Strong, demonstrable experience with Revit MEP
  • Proven experience producing detailed, coordinated building services models
  • Background working within a building services consultancy or similar environment
  • Good understanding of BIM coordination processes and model management
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative working approach


Desirable

  • Knowledge of BIM standards such as ISO 19650
  • Experience with clash detection tools (e.g. Navisworks)
  • Experience supporting or mentoring junior BIM/Revit technicians
