Quality Manager

Location: Brighton, East Sussex

Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 per annum (DOE)

The successful candidate will work closely with production, engineering, and senior leadership to embed a strong quality culture and ensure customer and regulatory requirements are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, maintain, and improve the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with relevant ISO standards (e.g. ISO 9001)
• Manage internal and external audits, including customer and certification audits
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes
• Investigate non-conformances, implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Analyse quality data and KPIs, reporting performance to senior management
• Support supplier quality management and incoming inspection processes
• Lead and develop quality team members where applicable
• Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and industry standards

About You

• Proven experience as a Quality Manager (or Senior Quality Engineer ready to step up) within a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management principles
• Experience with audits, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement tools
• Confident communicator, able to influence stakeholders at all levels
• Hands-on, proactive, and improvement-focused mindset
