Salary - up to £80,000 + Package

My Client is growing rapidly and is looking to appoint an exceptional Building Services Manager to strengthen their London team. This is a senior, influential position where your technical expertise, leadership, and commercial acumen will directly shape project outcomes.

The Opportunity

As Building Services Manager, you will take full responsibility for the management and coordination of major MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) design and build packages, from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.

You will be trusted to lead technically demanding packages, manage key stakeholder relationships, and ensure that quality, safety, programme, and commercial objectives are consistently achieved.

This role offers genuine autonomy, visibility at senior level, and the chance to work on landmark schemes with MEP values in excess of £10m.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage high-value MEP subcontract packages on major construction projects
• Coordinate off-site and on-site activities, ensuring delivery aligns with programme, budget, and quality benchmarks
• Drive cost control and commercial discipline, protecting project margins
• Manage change control processes, documenting variations and securing client approvals
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams
• Provide technical leadership across complex building systems, including:
• Electrical & Mechanical services
• Fire & life safety systems
• Security systems
• Water treatment
• High-voltage infrastructure

What You’ll Bring

• Strong experience within the construction industry managing MEP subcontract packages
• Proven delivery of large-scale projects with MEP values exceeding £10m
• Experience with off-site modular construction and Passivhaus MEP design (highly advantageous)
• A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with a focus on client satisfaction
• Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
• The confidence to lead, challenge, and influence at all levels
