Responsibilities

  • Work closely with developers, product owners and clients to identify issues with quality within MQUBE’s suite of products.
  • Identify cultural or systemic issues with quality (of individual instances) and help to resolve them.


Key Activities

  • Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, Clients and SME’s to design, implement and use tools/processes that improve MQube’s product offerings.
  • Stay up-to-date with technologies, trends, and processes that surround quality assurance.
  • Ensure Developers and Product Owners remain focused on ensuring products are of the highest quality.
  • Analyse and understand MQUBE’s processes and help to shape the future of MQUBE’s processes.
  • Use pre-existing online tooling to report defects and ensure their resolution.
  • Remain hands-on within the delivery teams to ensure that designed processes and implemented tools are functional and effective.

Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge and Experience


Qualifications

We expect to see relevant qualifications or experience that support your abilities in being

a Quality Assurance Engineer. In addition to a minimum grade of C or 4 in both English and Mathematics, our requirements are flexible. We understand that a grade does not always define ability.


Skills and Knowledge

  • A genuine interest in products, engineering, and building solutions that people love.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance tools and frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and a passion for solving complex challenges.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and concepts.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Minimum of a C-grade or a 4 in both English and Mathematics, or equivalent qualifications. Higher grades are preferred.


Additional Skills

  • Familiarity with software development tooling
  • Experience with agile processes.
  • Understanding of user experience (UX) principles.
  • Experience with web development, mobile app development, or other software domains.
