The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer at Pulpex, you’ll play a vital role in keeping their cutting-edge manufacturing and production lines running efficiently and safely. You’ll work hands-on with mechanical and electrical systems, responding to breakdowns, carrying out preventative maintenance, and supporting ongoing improvement projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on automated production and packaging machinery
  • Diagnose faults and perform mechanical and electrical repairs to minimise downtime
  • Support installation and commissioning of new equipment
  • Drive continuous improvement and reliability initiatives across production lines
  • Collaborate closely with Production and Engineering teams to ensure targets are met safely and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with health & safety standards


About You

We’re looking for an adaptable, forward-thinking engineer who enjoys variety, teamwork, and a challenge.


You’ll ideally have:

  • Time-served apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)
  • Experience in FMCG, packaging, food, or manufacturing environments
  • A proactive attitude towards maintenance and continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
