**Area Specification Manager – Market Leading Manufacturer – South West**

We’re working with a market-leading manufacturer that’s growing fast, employs over 1,000 people worldwide, and has a solid structure in place. They’re looking for someone proactive, hands-on, and experienced in specification to join the team and help take their business to the next level.

The Role:

You’ll be responsible for driving growth across your territory, including:

• Developing and executing a territory plan to achieve around £1m turnover
• Finding and developing new contractors, distributors, and projects
• Building strong relationships with contractors, installers, and distributors
• Generating and converting specifications—from spec generation to spec breaking
• Promoting the full product range
• Managing the full sales cycle from first contact to repeat business
• Keeping your pipeline and forecasts up to date
• Negotiating pricing and commercial terms within agreed frameworks

Who We’re Looking For:

You’ll fit well in this role if you:

• Have sales or business development experience in building materials or related products
• Already have a contractor network in your area
• Are confident at finding and winning new business
• Can work independently and manage a territory
• Have specification sales experience
• Are comfortable discussing targets, budgets, and margins
• Are motivated, resilient, and hands-on
• Are great at building relationships and presenting yourself
• Are results-focused and enjoy seeing tangible impact from your work

What’s On Offer:

• Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 (negotiable)
• Bonus scheme (paid quarterly and annually)
