Green IP Ltd is seeking a high-calibre Strategic Account Manager to join our team, playing a critical role in driving revenue growth and forging strategic partnerships within the automotive sector.


This position combines high-level business development with dedicated account management. As the primary commercial lead, you will ensure our automotive clients ranging from manufacturers to dealership groups, receive industry-leading communication and connectivity solutions, including hosted voice, contact centre (CCaaS), broadband, mobile, and network services.


This is a field-based role requiring travel to client sites across the UK, Ireland, and Mainland Europe.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Business Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities within the automotive market across the UK, Ireland, and Europe. You will consultatively sell the company’s full portfolio of services and develop strategic sales plans to exceed revenue targets.
  • Solution Design: Collaborate with the solutions team to build technical proposals that accurately address complex client infrastructure requirements.
  • Account Management: Manage a designated portfolio of automotive accounts, building strong relationships with stakeholders and conducting regular reviews to identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, solutions, provisioning, and project teams to ensure customers experience industry-leading service from lead generation to delivery. You will also feed back market intelligence to product teams to drive continuous improvement.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate pipeline data, meeting notes, and revenue forecasts within the CRM system.


Skills and Qualifications

Essential:

  • Proven experience as an Account Manager or Business Development Manager, preferably within the telecoms, IT, or automotive sectors.
  • Strong commercial knowledge of hosted telephony, contact centre (CCaaS), broadband, mobile, and network solutions.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing complex sales cycles and tendering processes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both in person and remotely.
  • A full UK driving licence and a willingness to travel regularly across the UK and Europe.


Desirable:

  • Automotive background in reselling SaaS.
  • Experience using Salesforce.
  • Fluency in a second European language.

  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): £80,000 - £100,000 per annum.
