Location: Northern Ireland & Republic of Ireland

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am - 5pm, 35 hours per week

Reporting to: Sales Director

Salary Package:£55,000 to £60,000 + Bonuses + Company Car & Robust Benefits Package


This is a dual role covering:

Account Management: The management, development, and growth of the area customer base.

Specification Sales: Gaining and converting full project specifications by convincingly communicating the complete offer and decisive advantages to clients, architects, façade consultants, and main contractors.


Main Duties:

Account Management:

  • Identify and target potential business clients, including builders, contractors, and retailers, through market research and networking.
  • Generate qualified leads and develop a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships by understanding client needs, challenges, and objectives.
  • Conduct compelling sales presentations and demonstrations to potential clients.
  • Skilfully negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure profitable deals, ensuring all aspects of the deal align with company objectives and policies.
  • Provide exceptional post-sales support, ensuring client satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues.
  • Monitor and share market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance and forecast, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions using CRM software.


Specification Sales:

  • Create a strong and sustained pipeline of specified projects by:
  • Identifying and targeting projects in market sectors suited to the offer and advantages.
  • Building strong, long-lasting relationships with key specifiers; clients; architects, and main contractors.
  • Track projects along the whole value chain protecting the specification at each stage and convert to our client.
  • Understand specifier needs, challenges, and objectives to provide tailored solutions.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of products/services to identify and provide technical support for the right solution.
  • Write strong project (NBS) specifications that protect project conversion.
  • Conduct compelling CPD presentations.
  • Maintain accurate records of project activities, specifications, and specifier interactions using CRM software.
  • Attend events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote company products and services.


Essential Experience / Skills:

  • Prior experience in specification sales within the façade industry.
  • Numerate and technically competent.
  • Confident and engaging presenter.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and organized approach to workload focused on taking meaningful action to consistently achieve results even under tough circumstances.
  • Crafted sales approach based on building long-term, valuable specifier relationships, with the ability to understand, identify specifier challenges, and proactively present tailored solutions that help them achieve their business goals.
  • Collaborative team member that builds trust, communicates respect, and utilizes others' diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
  • Full, clean driving license.


Desirable Experience / Skills:

  • Degree or HND in engineering, architecture, or a science-related field.
  • Familiarity with UK-specific regulations, sustainability standards, and market trends.
  • Strategic mindset with a strong data-driven approach, analytical and targeted strategies, and problem-solving skills.
  • Resilient, with the ability to bounce back and persevere in the face of challenges.


Salary Package:

£55,000 to £60,000 offers made depending on previous and proven experience to deliver the role.


Benefits Package:

  • 28 days holiday per year + 8 days bank holiday (January – December). The business operates Summer and Christmas closures to help with workloads, employee well-being, and work/life balance. These are deducted from the allowance.
  • Company annual and employee bonus schemes available, paid at the discretion of management.
  • Monthly Bonus Scheme paid monthly in line with KPI targets after 3 months probationary period, paid at the discretion of management. You will be eligible for up to £1,000 per month based on 50% sales vs target performance, 50% agreed KPIs. Bonus is paid monthly on achievement of monthly target regardless of YTD performance. In addition, if the full-year target is achieved, then the balance of any unpaid monthly bonus due to lack of monthly achievement will be paid.
