Area Sales Manager – North‑West & North Wales
Full‑Time | Field‑Based
Are you an experienced sales professional with a strong understanding of market trends and a passion for building relationships? ARDEX is seeking a talented Area Sales Manager to join our high‑performing flooring sales team, covering the North‑West and North Wales region.
This is an exciting opportunity to represent two industry‑leading brands and make a real impact across a key territory.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you’ll be responsible for growing and developing sales of ARDEX and BAL products through distributors, stockists, contractors, installers and specifiers. You’ll provide local technical sales support, build strong customer partnerships, and champion our high‑performance building materials across your area.
Your day‑to‑day will include:
- Achieving sales targets and area goals in line with the business plan
- Developing and supporting tiling contractors to grow product awareness and loyalty
- Building and maintaining a strong distributor network with local product availability
- Conducting monthly performance reviews with your manager
- Providing weekly market intelligence and updates from your territory
- Promoting ARDEX and BAL products across contractors, retailers and end users
- Monitoring costs and ensuring they align with performance targets
- Supplying accurate contact and customer information for internal systems
What We’re Looking For
You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
- Proven experience in trade sales (construction industry experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of current sales market trends
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Confidence working both independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
A good general level of education and strong written and verbal communication abilities are essential.
