Senior Radio Frequency Engineer

Job description

CMC are working with a client of ours who operates in the Defence / Space sector who needs an immediate Technical Lead Senior RF Systems Engineer on a critical V-Band High Power Amplifier / Block Upconverter development programme.

This is a hands-on Systems Role and the successful contractor will take ownership of the RF engineering workstream, operating as the technical authority while working closely with a small, highly capable internal team.

Key experience we’re interested in:

• mmWave / microwave RF systems (V-Band highly desirable)

• High Power Amplifiers (TWTA, GaN SSPA, hybrid HPAs)

• SATCOM uplink hardware, BUCs, waveguide architectures

• Leading RF budgets, integration, validation, and performance delivery

Details:

• Initial 6-month contract (extension highly likely)

• UK-based, hybrid (Rickmansworth / Hook)

• BPSS / British National Required
