Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Sales and Business Development Manager to lead our sensor business across Europe. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing key OEM accounts, and driving revenue growth through new project wins and market development.
This role offers the opportunity to shape the commercial direction of our sensor division while working closely with global engineering teams to bring innovative products to market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and business development strategy for the European sensor market.
- Manage the full sales cycle from pipeline development to design wins and revenue conversion.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key industrial and OEM customers, primarily in the UK and Continental Europe.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on new product introductions and promotional activities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.
- Ensure accurate sales forecasting and pipeline reporting.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Preffered)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a sales or business development role, ideally within sensors, industrial components, or related technology sectors.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong commercial negotiation skills and strategic thinking.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Willingness to travel up to 80% within Europe.
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, and able to work effectively in a remote setting.
