Role: International Account & Business Development Manager
Location: Greater Manchester (Hybrid – 3 to 4 days office)
Salary: Up to £65,000 (DOE)

The Opportunity
We’re partnering with a fast-growing, entrepreneurial consumer brands business operating across beauty, cosmetics and accessories. The business is looking to hire an International Account & Business Development Manager to support both UK and international growth, with a particular focus on expanding brand exposure and developing Private Label (PL) opportunities.

The Role
This role offers a clear split between managing and growing existing key accounts and driving new business across retail and distribution channels. You’ll own key customer relationships while actively identifying and securing new opportunities in both UK and international markets, directly contributing to the next phase of brand growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive UK and international sales growth across a portfolio of cosmetics and accessories brands
- Manage and develop a mix of existing retail and distribution accounts, ensuring strong relationships and sustainable growth
- Identify, target and secure new retail, wholesale and distribution partners
- Actively explore and develop Private Label (PL) opportunities, from initial conversations through to commercial agreement
- Lead commercial negotiations including pricing, margins, terms and promotional activity
- Build and deliver account plans aligned with wider business objectives
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams across product development, supply chain, operations and finance
- Manage new product introductions, range reviews and line extensions with retail partners
- Support sales forecasting, budgeting and commercial planning
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and consumer insight to identify growth opportunities
- Represent the business in meetings with UK and international partners and distributors
- Support onboarding of new accounts, ensuring all commercial and operational requirements are met
- Contribute to international expansion strategy, particularly across priority territories
- Maintain accurate reporting of sales activity, pipeline and performance
- Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring consistent and professional representation of the brands
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in account management and business development
- Background selling into grocery or mainstream retail environments
- (discounters not required)
- Experience working direct to retail and/or via distribution partners
- Exposure to both UK and international markets
- Experience in Germany, Italy, Spain or the US is highly advantageous
- Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills
- A proactive, driven mindset with a team-first approach
- Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
