Structures Supervisor – Ringway Infrastructure Services

About the Role

As a Structures Supervisor, you’ll be at the heart of our term maintenance contract with Gloucestershire County Council, overseeing the upkeep of bridges and retaining wall structures that keep the region moving. This is a hands-on role where you’ll manage projects from design through to on-site delivery, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency every step of the way.

What You’ll Do

Structural Project Planning

• Organise and manage maintenance and repair works for bridges, culverts, and retaining walls.
• Develop work programmes and ensure designs are implemented correctly on site.

Site Supervision & Safety

• Plan site works and draft Method Statements and Risk Assessments
• Oversee structural works on site, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Technical & Client Liaison

• Act as the main point of contact for Gloucestershire County Council on structural projects.
• Collaborate with designers, contractors, and suppliers to deliver high-quality structural solutions.

Materials & Cost Control

• Manage procurement of specialist structural materials and ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor costs and accurately claim value for completed works under the maintenance contract.
