We’re Hiring: Approved Electrician – Plymouth, Exeter, Taunton, Covering Devon

£27/hr (via agency)

Van, fuel card, PPE & test equipment provided

3-month contract with extensions- Immediate start (By 8th February)

We’re urgently seeking an Approved Electrician to join our team, supporting compliance works across industrial and commercial sites including quarries, breweries, and NHS properties.

What the Role Involves:

• Travel across Devon & South West England to client sites
• Electrical inspection & testing to BS7671 standards
• Emergency lighting & equipment testing
• Remedial works based on inspection findings
• Working independently to client scopes and safety procedures

What We’re Looking For:

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
• 18th Edition (BS7671)
• ECS Card & AM2 (or equivalent apprenticeship route)
• Strong experience in commercial/industrial environments
• Positive, independent, solution-focused attitude

Nice to have:

• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing
• First Aid & Asbestos Awareness certificates
• Clear Basic DBS (within last 3 months)
