✨ Join Our Team as a Dermatology Nurse in Dorset ✨

We’re looking for passionate Dermatology Surgical Nurses to join our teams in Dorset. You’ll work alongside highly skilled professionals and under the guidance of our fantastic 18 Week Clinical and Nurse Leads.

At 18 Week Support, we’re committed to delivering the highest standards of care while helping to reduce NHS waiting lists. This is a fantastic opportunity to expand your expertise in dermatology, working across outpatient clinics and supporting minor surgical procedures to improve the lives of patients with a wide range of skin conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised patient care plans
• Prepare, organise, and maintain the minor operations suite to ensure a safe, sterile working environment
• Assist Consultants during minor dermatology surgical procedures, including excisions and biopsies.
• Provide skilled scrub and circulating support throughout procedures, ensuring smooth clinical flow
• Perform safe and accurate pre-operative checks, including patient identification, consent verification, and equipment readiness
• Support outpatient dermatology clinics, including patient education
• Work closely as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT) of Consultants, nurses, and HCAs
• Assist with dermatology-related minor surgical procedures
• Provide wound care and topical treatments, including Doppler assessments and compression bandaging

✅ Requirements

• At least 6 months’ recent experience in dermatology within the last 12 months
• NHS Experience
• NMC Registered Nurse
