CAD Manager -Birmingham

Deliver high-quality designs and wiring diagrams for the company’s product range, ensuring compliance with standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review specifications and ensure compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with clients and teams to agree on design routes.
• Produce accurate drawings and develop system software elements.
• Manage major projects independently and attend site visits confidently.
• Handle contractual matters and negotiate price variations.
• Train new staff and support team improvement initiatives.
• Prioritise workload effectively under pressure.
• Provide excellent customer service and flexibility for out-of-hours work.

Qualifications

• Electrical Qualifications

• AutoCAD/BIM/Revit

Essential

• Strong knowledge and experience of AUTOCAD.

• Good understanding of electrical specifications

• Understanding project delivery requirements.

Personal Qualities/Attributes

• Converse with a diverse range of people (Internal and external clients) through various forms of media and face to face.

• Effectively communicate in writing to clients (Internal & External).

• Ability to work under pressure and have a positive and determined attitude to complete the project(s).

• Excellent organisational skills.
