Project Engineer – Systems Integration


An innovative systems integration specialist is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join their growing engineering team. The Role

As a Project Engineer, you will be instrumental in delivering complex automation projects from concept through to commissioning. You will work closely with clients, internal engineering teams, and project stakeholders to ensure high-quality, compliant, and efficient project execution.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing control systems and automation solutions
  • Developing and implementing SCADA systems
  • Writing, testing, and deploying PLC code
  • On-site commissioning and system testing
  • Preparing technical documentation
  • Training end users and client teams
  • Ensuring compliance with quality standards and industry regulations
  • Maintaining clear communication with clients, colleagues, and management
  • Mentoring junior engineers and supporting continuous improvement


About You

Essential:

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Strong technical knowledge of control systems, instrumentation, and automation technologies

Desirable:

  • Experience in systems integration
  • Proven experience delivering or supporting complex engineering projects
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
