Senior Data Engineer (SQL Python Snowflake) London / WFH to £120k
Do you have data expertise combined with technical leadership skills?
You could be progressing your career in a hands on leadership role at a tech driven, global Asset Manager with multiple billions of dollars under management.
As a Senior Data Engineer you will design, build and maintain reliable data pipelines and integrations using Python and SQL and will take a lead role in the design and development of a Greenfield Snowflake based data platform for the Investment side of the business.
You'll help make the technical and design choices and contribute to the longer term data vision, collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You'll also provide technical project leadership, coaching and mentoring to a small, talented team.
Location / WFH:
There's a hybrid work from home policy with three days in the London office per week where you'll join a supportive, diverse team environment with a large range of facilities.
About you:
- You have strong data engineering experience, with advanced SQL skills
- You have experience of building or migrating to Snowflake data platform
- You have Python (and ideally C#) programming skills
- You have experience with data modelling, ETL pipelines and data integration
- You have a good knowledge of Dagster, Airflow or similar orchestration tool
- You're collaborative and pragmatic with great stakeholder communication skills
