Design Verification Engineer

Job description

I am looking for a Digital Verification Engineer join a US company who have opened a UK design centre near Cambridge. You will join a small but growing UK team as they embark on their next stage of growth and be influential in company projects and product development.

Duties and responsibilities

• Support with the management of the digital and (Analog/Mixed-Signal verification environment across design projects)
• Define and enforce verification methodologies, standards, and guidelines for assigned projects
• Review internal and customer specifications and develop comprehensive verification plans, test plans, and environments to ensure full compliance
• Review and analyse RTL code to debug issues, gain design understanding, and propose effective solutions
• Work closely with digital and analog design teams to identify, debug, and resolve RTL and gate-level simulation issues
• Develop assertion-based, constrained-random verification environments
• Create and maintain testcase plans, coverage plans, and verification plans
• Implement and analyse functional and code coverage to ensure verification completeness

Minimum requirements

• MEng degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or a closely related field
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant industry experience
• Special Requirements
• Universal Verification Methodology
• TCL and Bash scripting
• Formal verification techniques
• SystemVerilog

Salary and benefits

• £50,000 – £60,000 per annum base salary, dependent on experience and skill set
