About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Suspension Engineer to join one of our prestigious automotive customers in Gaydon. This is a contract opportunity for a senior-level professional with a strong background in suspension systems and cross-functional engineering collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply advanced engineering theories and principles to design, develop, and refine suspension systems.
• Lead research and development efforts focused on suspension devices, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with powertrain engineering teams to develop industrialized products.
• Manage complex projects and engineering processes with minimal supervision.
• Provide coaching and technical guidance to junior engineers.
• Solve challenging and sometimes complex engineering problems with innovative solutions.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience in suspension engineering within the automotive sector.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and dynamics.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience mentoring or reviewing the work of junior professionals.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; advanced qualifications preferred.
