Controls Engineers (Siemens TIA Portal)

MoveATech is looking for 2–3 talented Controls Engineers with Siemens TIA Portal experience to support exciting automation projects across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for engineers who want to work end-to-end on projects, from development through to on-site commissioning, with a flexible working setup and real career progression potential.

What the role involves:

• PLC programming using Siemens TIA Portal
• Supporting automation projects from concept to commissioning
• On-site commissioning and troubleshooting (approx. 40% travel)
• Working closely with the client’s engineering team

The ideal candidate:

• Experience with Siemens TIA Portal (5+ years preferred, but we’re open to strong candidates looking to progress quickly)
• Experience with conveyor systems is a big plus, especially in logistics environments (e.g., Amazon, DHL)
• Engineers who have transitioned from Maintenance Engineering into Controls are particularly welcome with strong PLC Programming skills

Working arrangements:

• Remote-first role with 1 day per week in the Shropshire office (experience dependent)
• Travel approximately 40%, project dependent
