Facilities Shift Technician – Competitive Salary + Shift Allowance
Location: Oldham
Hours: 2 on / 2 off / 3 on / 2 off / 2 on / 3 off (rotating days & nights)
Are you a hands-on Multiskilled Facilities Technician who enjoys keeping critical plant running 24/7?
We’re partnering with a well-established manufacturer looking for a Facilities Shift Technician to maintain, repair, and monitor essential site plant and systems.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Preventative maintenance, repairs, and modifications to plant and equipment
- Daily routines for water systems
- Maintaining site utilities: cooling, compressed air, vacuum, bulk gas, effluent, heating, and electrical systems
- Responding to alarms, breakdowns and emergencies as part of the shift team
What We’re Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 / ONC or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- Facilities maintenance experience
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Hydraulic and pneumatic experience
- PLC experience (desirable)
