Expleo is recruiting an experienced Training & Development Specialist to support one of our premium automotive customers at a major UK manufacturing facility. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with leading automotive products within a highly innovative and technology‑driven environment.


You will join the Business Systems Delivery team, which acts as the essential link between technical delivery and organisation-wide adoption. The team ensures that Manufacturing Digitalisation & Innovation programmes are successfully embedded, delivering high-quality deployment experiences across a global manufacturing footprint.


We are seeking a capable and proactive Manufacturing Systems Trainer to play a key role in supporting digital capability rollout across the business.


Key Performance Indicators

  • Create and deliver blended learning packages
  • Define, engage, and align stakeholders in preparation for deployments / feature releases
  • Ensure clear, agreed training delivery plans are executed on time
  • Host on-site and off-site training events
  • Demonstrate excellent business behaviours, including strong team working
  • Collaborate with Business Process, Testing, Training, System Specialists and Communications Teams


Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure robust delivery of deployment releases to end users, supporting organisational readiness and ensuring that change is adopted and sustained.

Key activities include:

  • Conducting process assessments and stakeholder identification through Training Needs Analysis (TNA)
  • Designing, creating and delivering role-based user training
  • Developing training materials including classroom courses, online learning, assessments, videos, simulations, and quick reference guides
  • Evaluating users’ knowledge levels
  • Identifying and onboarding Early Adopters and Super Users
  • Conducting training impact assessments
  • Creating stakeholder engagement and training plans, and supporting related communications
  • Managing user access
  • Carrying out additional tasks aligned with your skills and qualifications


Skills & Experience Required

You’ll need:

  • A technical mindset with the ability to digest and simplify technical documentation
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Experience of collaboration and cross-functional working
  • Exposure to manufacturing environments
  • High standards for written documentation
  • Ability to create standard training delivery plans
  • Solid experience with the Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to liaise between business, technology, and support teams
  • Clear, fluent spoken and written English
  • Confidence presenting in workshops and meetings
  • A relevant degree or equivalent practical experience (preferred)


Essential Competencies

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Experience in learning data analysis, metrics, and reporting
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels, from shop floor to Director
  • Experience working with internal and external business partners
  • Experience collaborating with international colleagues (European, Chinese, Indian, Brazilian, Slovakian, etc.)
  • Structured, organised, and disciplined approach to planning
  • Ability to deliver with urgency
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity
  • Self‑directed and self‑motivated


Desirable Skills

  • Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
  • Experience with Atlassian tools such as JIRA and Confluence
  • Experience working with SAP Learning Management System (LMS) in SuccessFactors
  • Experience with EnableNow / RISE
