Application Production Engineer

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Application Production Support Engineer to support business-critical applications in a production environment.

Full-time with Ascendion

3 Days WFO - Chester

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L1/L2/L3 production support for enterprise applications
• Monitor applications, identify issues, and perform root cause analysis
• Support incident, problem, and release management in line with ITIL processes
• Troubleshoot application issues across middleware, databases, and operating systems
• Support technical implementations and production releases

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Production Support / Application Support / IT Operations
• Strong understanding of Java/J2EE technologies: Core Java, JDBC, EJB, Java Web Services
• Experience with server-side technologies: SOAP/REST services, XML/XSLT, JDBC, AOP, MQ, Microservices, MuleSoft
• Strong Unix and Windows OS knowledge with scripting experience
