Senior Account Manager

BrandSwap | Relevant Brand Partnerships is looking for a Senior Account Manager

Job description

About BrandSwap

BrandSwap is an award-winning Retail Media startup helping online retailers drive revenue and conversions through brand-to-brand partnerships. We enable seamless, on-brand reward experiences across the full customer journey — from pre-checkout gift-with-purchase (GWP) offers and AI-powered targeting to post-checkout rewards and member perks.

Our platform is lightweight to implement, deployable via publisher network tags, Google Tag Manager or SDK/API, with rapid speed to market.

We’re entering a high-growth phase as we move from startup to scale-up. That means real momentum, real responsibility, and real opportunity to shape how things work. We’re now looking for a Senior Account Manager who thrives on ownership and wants to play a meaningful role in building the next phase of the business.

Role Overview

As Senior Account Manager, reporting to the Chief Customer Officer, you’ll act as a strategic partner to our clients — unlocking value for their customers, driving measurable revenue, and increasing adoption of BrandSwap’s products.

This is a high-autonomy role. We don’t have rigid playbooks or layers of process — instead, you’ll have the space to think, act, and improve how we work as we grow. You’ll combine strategic thinking, collaboration, and data-driven insight to deliver impactful campaigns across our full product suite, while helping define best practice as the business scales.

Key Responsibilities
1. Client Account Management

  • Own and deepen relationships with a portfolio of key mid-market clients, while supporting enterprise partners where needed

  • Understand client business goals and translate them into effective BrandSwap strategies

  • Lead (or co-lead) campaign strategy, execution, and optimisation across your client portfolio

  • Act as a trusted, commercial partner rather than a reactive service contact

2. Performance Analysis & Insights

  • Monitor and interpret campaign performance (CTRs, EPCs, CVRs, revenue per customer, etc.)

  • Clearly communicate results, insights, and optimisation recommendations to clients

  • Identify patterns and success stories that can be scaled across retailers (e.g. Currys, The AA, Morrisons)

  • Use data confidently to guide decisions, not just report on outcomes

3. Client Growth & Retention

  • Identify and progress upsell and cross-sell opportunities across the BrandSwap platform

  • Drive deeper integration across the customer journey as relationships mature

  • Represent client needs internally, helping shape product evolution and roadmap priorities

  • Take ownership of improving how we manage, grow, and retain accounts over time

Who We’re Looking For

Experience
  • ~5+ years’ experience in account management or similar roles within retail media, e-commerce, partnerships, affiliate marketing, performance advertising, or media buying

  • Proven experience managing accounts end-to-end and contributing to revenue growth

Technical & Analytical
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn performance data into actionable insight

  • Curiosity and technical confidence to understand on-site technology and AI-driven optimisation

  • Comfortable learning new products and concepts without needing step-by-step guidance

Interpersonal & Working Style
  • Clear, confident communicator who can present ideas and results convincingly

  • Enjoys building relationships and spending time with clients and colleagues

  • Proactive, organised, and comfortable taking initiative

  • Thrives in environments with autonomy, ownership, and evolving processes

Collaboration & Mindset
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in a growing startup environment

  • Motivated by impact, responsibility, and continuous improvement

  • Happy to help define “how we do things” as the company scales

  • Self-starter mentality — you enjoy working things out rather than waiting for instructions

  • What We Offer
    • Competitive salary + pension + share scheme

    • 25 days annual leave (plus public holidays), increasing annually with service, plus an extra day off for your birthday

    • Hybrid working (currently 3 days in the office, 2 from home — subject to change)

    • Private WeWork office near Moorgate / Liverpool Street (barista, bike storage, showers)

    • Regular team socials with drinks and dinners to celebrate success
