Business Development Representative (BDR) – Software Consultancy

Remote-based (UK) | One day per month in London – all expenses covered

Up to £50,000 + Commission


This is a brilliant opportunity to join a well-established software consultancy with 30+ years of success, trusted by global brands and known for building long-term client partnerships through delivery excellence rather than aggressive sales tactics.

As the business invests in its next phase of growth, it’s expanding its Go-To-Market team and is now looking for a Business Development Representative to play a key role in generating new enterprise opportunities.

The Role

As a Business Development Representative, you’ll be responsible for opening doors, starting meaningful conversations, and qualifying opportunities within enterprise and mid-market organisations.

You’ll work closely with senior sales and leadership, gaining exposure to the full sales lifecycle while focusing on the top-of-funnel, setting up high-quality meetings and opportunities for the wider GTM team.

This is not a high-volume, script-heavy role. It’s about quality conversations, curiosity, and understanding real business challenges.


What You’ll Be Doing

• Researching and identifying target accounts and decision-makers

• Engaging senior technology leaders (CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, Heads of Engineering)

• Generating new business meetings via personalised outreach

• Qualifying opportunities and understanding client needs

• Supporting enterprise sales cycles with insight and preparation

• Collaborating with Marketing on targeted campaigns

• Keeping CRM and pipeline data accurate and up to date

• Learning the foundations of consultative, enterprise-level selling


What We’re Looking For

• Experience in a BDR / SDR / sales development role (or strong commercial potential)

• Interest in technology, software, or consulting

• Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills

• Curious, coachable, and keen to learn

• Comfortable speaking with senior stakeholders

• Self-motivated and thrives in a collaborative environment
