About the Company

Ark are recruiting for a leading events and media business that delivers some of the industry’s most influential exhibitions and platforms across design, interiors, and retail. Known for producing high impact, commercially successful live experiences, the business works with leading global brands, specifiers, and creative communities.


They are now seeking a Exhibition Sales Manager to lead the revenue strategy for one of their events. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded, strategic sales leader to shape partnerships, drive growth, and deliver an exceptional event experience.


The Role

As an Exhibition Sales Manager, you will take full ownership of commercial strategy and revenue delivery. You’ll drive exhibitor and sponsorship sales, develop compelling go to market packages, and build the partnerships that establish the event as a credible, must attend platform.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead stand, sponsorship, and partnership sales, achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of exhibitors, sponsors, and strategic partners across design, interiors, architecture, and specification sectors.
  • Develop creative commercial packages tailored proposals aligned to client objectives.
  • Negotiate and close high value deals with senior decision makers and global brands.
  • Work closely with marketing, content, and operations teams to ensure strong market positioning and exceptional client delivery.
  • Implement structured forecasting, reporting, and pipeline management to support decision making.
  • Support the development and leadership of a high performing commercial team
  • Represent the event and brand at industry events to build visibility and generate leads.


About You

  • Proven experience in senior exhibition, sponsorship, or B2B event or media sales roles.
  • A strong track record of delivering revenue through exhibitor sales and/or sponsorship.
  • Experience within design, interiors, architecture, or the built environment (or closely aligned sectors).
  • The ability to build propositions, sell value, and negotiate at senior level.
  • Strong relationship building skills with a focus on long term partnerships.
  • Experience selling multi channel partnerships (events, content, digital).
  • Excellent organisation, forecasting, and pipeline management capability.
  • A proactive, resilient mindset with strong commercial creativity.
