Ecommerce Brand Owner

Print Clever | Print On Demand is looking for a Ecommerce Brand Owner

Job description

Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 DOE

About the Role

We’re looking for a Brand Owner to take full commercial ownership of our brands stores. This role is accountable for the brand’s P&L, strategy, positioning, and growth, working closely with our E-commerce team to turn strategy into execution.

This is a commercial leadership role, not an executional e-commerce position. You will define what we do and why — the E-commerce team will deliver the how.

If you’re commercially minded, brand-driven, and comfortable owning numbers as well as vision, this role offers genuine responsibility and impact.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Vision
  • Define and own the brand’s vision, tone of voice, and market positioning
  • Create and maintain a clear brand roadmap aligned to commercial goals
  • Ensure consistency across products, messaging, and campaigns
Commercial Ownership
  • Full P&L responsibility for the brand
  • Own revenue, gross margin, and growth targets
  • Set pricing and promotional strategy (with E-commerce support)
  • Identify opportunities to increase AOV, conversion rate, and repeat purchase
Product & Range Ownership
  • Define product ranges, launches, and drops
  • Decide which products are added, evolved, or discontinued
  • Own product performance reviews and lifecycle decisions
Campaigns & Growth Planning
  • Plan campaigns, launches, and promotional activity
  • Clearly brief the E-commerce team on objectives, priorities, and success metrics
  • Review performance and iterate using data and insight
Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Act as the single point of accountability for the brand
  • Work closely with E-commerce, Marketing, and Operations teams
  • Ensure execution aligns with brand vision and commercial targets

  • What This Role Does Not Do

This role is not responsible for day-to-day e-commerce execution. Specifically, you will not:

    • Upload products or manage Shopify day-to-day
    • Build email campaigns or automation flows
    • Make routine site changes or merchandising tweaks
    • Run paid ads or execute CRO tests
    • Handle operational e-commerce tasks

These responsibilities sit with the E-commerce team — your focus is strategy, ownership, and performance.

    Success Measures (KPIs)
    • Revenue growth vs target
    • Gross profit margin
    • Contribution margin
    • Repeat purchase rate
    • Performance of new product launches
    • Delivery against the brand roadmap

    Ideal Profile
    • Commercially minded with strong brand instincts
    • Comfortable owning numbers, targets, and accountability
    • Strategic thinker who can prioritise effectively
    • Able to brief and lead execution without micromanaging
    • Experience with consumer brands, e-commerce, or licensing preferred
