Mode Search is supporting a high-end, fashion-forward luxury brand with the appointment of a Store Director for its London boutique. This brand is recognised for its sophisticated ready-to-wear collections, refined silhouettes, and elevated client experience, combining modern elegance with an aspirational yet approachable luxury positioning. The flagship plays a key role in representing the brand globally and delivering best-in-class retail standards.


The role is based in London within a flagship store environment and reports into senior regional leadership. The Store Director will work closely with cross-functional head office teams, acting as a key ambassador for the brand while owning the commercial performance, team leadership, and client strategy of this highly visible location.


The Role

  • Lead and inspire a large, high-performing retail team within a flagship environment, setting the standard for service, leadership, and brand representation
  • Act as a senior brand ambassador on the shop floor, ensuring the brand’s values, aesthetic, and service philosophy are consistently delivered
  • Drive a best-in-class clienteling, CRM, and prospecting strategy to build long-term, loyal client relationships locally and internationally
  • Deliver strong commercial results through a client-centric and sustainable sales approach
  • Coach, mentor, and develop management and store teams through consistent feedback, training, and hands-on leadership
  • Oversee all operational aspects of the flagship, including stock management, visual standards, and compliance with operational guidelines
  • Ensure the flagship store acts as a benchmark for service excellence, customer experience, and brand standards


Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Store Director or senior Store Manager within luxury fashion, premium, or high-profile flagship retail environments
  • Strong people leadership skills, with experience managing and developing large teams and leadership structures
  • Highly client-focused, with a strong track record in CRM, clienteling, and building long-term customer relationships
  • Commercially driven, with the ability to balance performance targets with brand integrity and service excellence
  • Strong styling sensibility and confidence leading from the shop floor
  • Charismatic, positive, and engaging leadership style, with the presence to represent a flagship business
  • Highly organised with strong operational knowledge and attention to detail
