Business Sales Representative

Express Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with a well-established and growing business, as they look to expand their internal sales team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and supportive employer in a mostly phone-based B2B sales role, focused on selling contracts, services and training solutions rather than physical products. You’ll play a key role in lead generation, appointment booking, and converting warm enquiries into sales, supporting both new and existing clients.

The successful candidate will enjoy a varied sales position with a fantastic basic salary of up to c£30,000 D.O.E., uncapped commission and the opportunity to join a growing forward-thinking business.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Proactively contact prospective and existing B2B customers by telephone
• Generate and qualify sales leads from inbound enquiries and marketing campaigns
• Book appointments and demonstrations for senior or field-based sales colleagues
• Identify customer needs and promote relevant services, contracts, and training solutions
• Handle objections confidently and professionally
• Achieve and exceed individual sales, call, and KPI targets
• Support outbound calling initiatives and marketing-led campaigns
• Act as the first point of contact for many customers, representing the business professionally

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a B2B sales role
• Confident telephone manner with excellent communication skill
• Resilience in the face of objection
• Self-motivated with a results-driven attitude
• Ability to build rapport quickly and effectively
• Strong IT skills, including CRM systems, email, and MS Office
