Location: Split between Beckenham, remote working and on site

Hours: 40 per week

Contract: Full time (hours as required)

Salary range: £45k - £50k p.a. Plus commission (depending on experience)


PURPOSE OF POST

An Account Manager at Eclipse serves as the primary point of contact between the company and its clients, playing a crucial role in nurturing client relationships. Their main responsibility is to maintain customer satisfaction by understanding client goals, proactively identifying opportunities, and delivering solutions tailored to their specific requirements. They coordinate internally with various departments—such as design, scenic and technical delivery teams to ensure seamless service delivery, address concerns, and provide strategic guidance that aligns with both client and company objectives. By managing client accounts effectively, they contribute to customer retention, revenue growth, and the overall success of the business.

In addition to relationship management, Account Managers are responsible for driving business growth by upselling and identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts. The role requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills to handle multiple accounts, meet deadlines, and ensure that clients experience high levels of service and satisfaction.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing strong relationships with clients through connecting with key business contacts and stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with the Sales team to develop business opportunities.
  • Working with existing clients to develop new business.
  • Liaising between the client and internal colleagues (e.g., Sales, Projects, Operations, Accounts) to ensure the successful delivery of each event and meeting or exceeding client expectations.
  • Communicating to clients clearly and addressing their concerns and resolving any conflicts that arise.
  • Completing RFPs where necessary and delivering sales pitches to prospective clients.
  • Conducting client visits as necessary and appropriate.
  • Communicating regularly with the Commercial Directors on the progress of monthly/quarterly targets.
  • Forecasting and tracking key account metrics.
  • Preparing reports and updates on the status of accounts to feed into Commercial Directors.
  • Providing professional after sales support.
  • Achievement of specific projects and targets as set and defined by senior management.
