Sales Manager

Job description

My client is seeking a Sales Manager to join their well run, close knit business, in Ely. This is predominantly a fully office-based role, working closely with international suppliers and partners. The role suits an experienced sales professional who enjoys leading from the front in a fast-paced, commercial environment.

Key duties include:

• Managing and developing the sales function to drive revenue growth

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and distributors

• Working closely with international suppliers

• Monitoring sales performance, forecasting, and reporting against KPIs

• Identifying new market opportunities and routes to market

• Attending trade shows and exhibitions

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience in a sales management role

• Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation ability

• Confidence working with international suppliers or customers

• Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally on a quarterly basis would be desirable
