Sales Manager – Automated Warehouse & Robotics Solutions

Location

Flexible / Hybrid (with regional or international travel as required)


Job Purpose

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth by selling automated warehouse solutions, including robotics, ASRS (Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems), conveyor systems, and warehouse software. This role focuses on developing new business, managing key accounts, and positioning advanced automation solutions to improve customer supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for automated warehouse, robotics, and ASRS solutions
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across targeted industries (e.g. Logistics, e-commerce, manufacturing, FMCG)
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and close
  • Achieve and exceed assigned revenue and margin targets

Customer & Account Management

  • Build strong, long-term relationships with customers, integrators, consultants, and partners
  • Act as a trusted advisor, understanding customer operational challenges and proposing tailored automation solutions
  • Manage key and strategic accounts, including upselling and cross-selling opportunities

Technical & Solution Selling

  • Work closely with engineering and solutions teams to develop technically and commercially viable proposals
  • Present automation concepts, system layouts, ROI models, and value propositions to customers
  • Support tender responses, bids, and RFQs related to ASRS, robotics, and warehouse automation

Market & Industry Engagement

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies in warehouse automation and robotics
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer workshops
  • Provide market feedback to product and leadership teams to support continuous improvement

Key Requirements

Experience

  • Proven sales experience within warehouse automation, intralogistics, robotics, ASRS, or material handling
  • Track record of selling complex, high-value technical solutions (capital equipment / systems)
  • Experience managing long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
  • Familiarity with industries such as logistics, distribution, manufacturing, or e-commerce is highly desirable

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong consultative and solution-selling skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
  • Commercially astute with strong financial and ROI understanding
  • Ability to understand and articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently

Education

  • Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred but not essential)

Travel

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
