Store Manager

Meet & Match is looking for a Store Manager

Job description

In London, Harrods remains a global barometer for luxury retail: a crossroads where international clientele, flawless execution and daily commercial intensity converge. In this context, one of our partner Houses is hiring a Store Manager able to deliver sustained performance while elevating service culture, operational discipline and team dynamics.

This role is designed for a leader who can own the business, protect the fundamentals (clienteling, conversion, productivity, stock discipline, VM), and act as a true business partner to central teams (assortment, VM, training). Success will not only be measured through numbers, but through the ability to stabilise and develop a team, build managerial consistency, and create long-term momentum — in one of Europe’s most high-profile and competitive retail environments.

As Store Manager, you will take full ownership of your scope at Harrods, with a high bar on execution, client experience and performance.

Business leadership & performance

  • Define and execute the performance plan: sales, margin, productivity, retail KPIs, conversion, UPT, ATV
  • Drive daily and weekly trading routines: performance reviews, action plans, fast decision-making
  • Manage category activation, cross-selling opportunities and stock priorities with precision

Clienteling & relationship excellence

  • Deploy a structured clienteling strategy: recruitment, retention, reactivation, VIC/VIP development
  • Strengthen selling ceremony and service standards in a highly visible environment
  • Build events and in-store activations aligned with the House’s priorities and Harrods’ dynamics

People leadership & team development

  • Lead, coach and upskill a multicultural team
  • Embed a strong feedback culture, operational discipline and accountability
  • Structure schedules, training plans, performance rituals and internal career pathways

Execution & standards

  • Ensure full compliance with the House’s standards: VM, grooming, processes, retail excellence
  • Maintain strong coordination with Harrods (operations, access rules, security, retail constraints)
  • Work closely with central teams (assortment, VM, training) to secure consistent execution

Profile

You combine business rigour, client sophistication and strong people leadership.

  • Proven experience in luxury retail management (Store Manager / Deputy / Boutique Manager)
  • Comfortable in high-intensity environments: flagship stores, department stores, highly international traffic
  • Strong KPI culture, execution mindset and ability to sustain performance over time
  • Human leadership: ability to develop talent, set clear standards and drive engagement
  • Client-centric approach: confident with VIC/VIP profiles and high service expectations
  • Fluent English required (any additional language is a strong asset)

What the House offers

  • A high-visibility leadership role within one of Europe’s most strategic luxury retail environments
  • A full-scope position: performance, clienteling, team leadership, standards, central coordination
  • A partner House that values execution, service elevation and long-term talent development
