Regional Manager – West Midlands

Permanent | Full-time (35 hours/week) | £35,752.81 per annum

Home-based, with travel across the region for meetings and events

Overview

A respected professional membership body is seeking a Regional Manager to lead and grow its membership community in the West Midlands. This role is central to supporting and connecting members, volunteers, and local stakeholders, while delivering events, CPD programmes, and networking opportunities that strengthen the region’s professional community.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage regional events to engage and retain members.
  • Deliver CPD programmes that support professional development.
  • Facilitate networking opportunities that encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Support volunteer committees that drive regional activity and initiatives.
  • Maintain effective communication with members, partners, and regional stakeholders.


For this role you will need to be highly organised, proactive, and skilled at building relationships. With demonstrable experience in event management, strong IT and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.


Essential skills and experience:

  • Proven experience in event membership management and volunteer coordination.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to influence, motivate, and support volunteers and members.
  • Comfortable using digital communications and event platforms.


This home-based role, but will require travel to meetings and events to meet with clients and potential clients. The role offers the chance to work closely with a network of passionate volunteers and regional colleagues.
