Sales Consultant / Business Development Manager – Hays Advisory (Assessment & Development)


Location: London


Hybrid Working – 3 Days in office, 2 days from home.

Overview

As a sales Consultant, you’ll identify new business opportunities, engage with HR and Talent leaders, and position Hays as a trusted partner. You will Generate new business for Hays Advisory’s assessment and development services, focusing on leadership and management assessment, assessment centre design, and leadership team development.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify prospects for assessment and development solutions.
  • Conduct discovery calls and present Hays’ offerings (assessment centres, leadership workshops, advisory services).
  • Support proposal development and pricing discussions.
  • Collaborate with delivery consultants for seamless client handover.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline data in CRM and report on progress.


Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales or HR, talent, Exec, L&D, or assessment consultancy. · Strong communication and presentation skills, with demonstrable experience of working with senior stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with psychometric tools and assessment methodologies (desirable). · Beneficial but not essential: Basic understanding of organisational design principles and how they impact leadership structures.
