Operations Coordinator

Simple Scaling is looking for a Operations Coordinator

Job description

Operations Co-ordinator

The calm behind the chaos. The detail behind the magic. The reason everything just… works.

Let’s start with this:

If you love organisation, structure, and seeing things run beautifully smoothly

If you get genuine satisfaction from knowing nothing has been missed

If you’re the person who spots the detail, fixes the issue before it becomes a problem, and quietly keeps everything on track…

You might have just found your role.

Who we are (and why this role matters)

Simple Scaling is a high-growth business built to support ambitious founders, MDs and leadership teams as they scale.

We deliver:

✅ High-impact leadership programmes

✅ In-person and online workshops & events

✅ A bestselling book and top-ranked podcast

✅ A powerful community of scaling SMEs (10–300 employees)

Everything we do is premium, intentional and people-first.

And none of it works without exceptional operational delivery behind the scenes.

That’s where you come in.

What you’ll actually do

This role exists to remove friction, manage detail, and create consistency across everything we deliver.

You’ll be the operational glue that keeps programmes, events and communications running smoothly.

You’ll support with:

  • Preparing agendas, packs and checklists
  • Supporting in-person events during busy delivery periods

Participant & Member Experience

  • Onboarding participants (docs, access, calendars, comms)
  • Being a friendly, professional point of contact
  • Making sure every interaction feels organised, calm and considered

Administration & Documentation

  • Maintaining trackers, shared folders and documentation
  • Preparing presentations, reports and materials
  • Ensuring everything is accurate, up to date and easy to find

Operational Follow-Through

  • Tracking tasks and actions so nothing slips
  • Flagging issues early (not reactively)
  • Continuously improving how we work

You won’t just support operations - you’ll strengthen and elevate them.

Why this role matters

When operations run well:

✔ Events feel effortless

✔ Participants feel supported

✔ The delivery team can focus on quality and ownership

✔ The Simple Scaling experience stays world-class

  • Take ownership and pride in your work
  • Communicate clearly and professionally
  • Stay calm under pressure
  • Enjoy supporting others to do their best work
  • Care deeply about quality and detail
  • Like being busy - but organised busy

You don’t need to be loud.

You do need to be dependable.

Experience that helps (but mindset matters most)

  • Operations, admin or coordination experience
  • Supporting events, programmes or projects
  • Strong written communication
  • Comfortable juggling multiple priorities
  • Confident using systems, trackers and documents

If you’re organised, proactive and take pride in doing things properly — we can teach the rest.
