The role of a Designer– Architectural Metal will involve:

• Design position dealing with a high end range of architectural metal systems such as: balustrades, balconies, canopies, stairs, hand rails and staircases
• Build and develop client relationships throughout projects
• Ensure design is maintained from concept through to completion
• Producing designs for projects ranging from £50k to £1.2m in value
• Liaise with client and external consultants in relation to live projects
• Identify and manage design risks

The ideal applicant will be a Designer – Architectural Metal with:

• Must have 5+ years design experience within the architectural metal market sector, dealing with balustrades, balconies, decking, canopies, stairs, hand rails and staircases
• Must have AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Tekla or related software experience
• Ideally will have experience dealing with commercial projects
• Ideally will have a degree in architecture, engineering, design, or a related field
• Knowledge of cladding systems will be preferred
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• High attention to detail and excellent organisation skills
• Driven, enthusiastic, comfortable working autonomously
