T A Knox formed in 1962 is a family run dynamic and innovative interior fit-out company dedicated to transforming spaces into functional and aesthetically pleasing environments. With a commitment to excellence and a focus on delivering high-quality projects, we are seeking a skilled Site Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of interior fit-out projects.


Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Site Manager to oversee and manage the execution of our interior fit-out projects. The successful candidate will ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:


Project Management

  • Oversee daily site operations and ensure smooth execution of interior fit-out projects.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site workforce.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and ensure adherence to deadlines.
  • Conduct regular progress meetings and report updates to the Project Manager.


Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Ensure all works meet project specifications and quality standards.
  • Implement and monitor quality control procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including site reports and logs.


Health & Safety

  • Ensure a safe working environment and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments.


Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients on-site.
  • Address and resolve any site issues promptly to maintain positive client relationships.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager in interior fit-out or construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of interior fit-out processes, materials, and methods.
  • Relevant construction qualifications (e.g., NVQ, SMSTS, CSCS).
  • Health and Safety certifications are an advantage (e.g., First Aid, NEBOSH).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools is desirable.
