About Korn Ferry

At Korn Ferry, we believe organisations thrive when talent and strategy move in sync. We help clients unlock their collective brilliance, accelerate performance, and build workplaces where people grow and succeed.

Here, your ideas matter. Your voice is heard. And your ambition is matched with world‑class development, autonomy, and a culture that celebrates excellence.

If you want a career where you can truly shape how work gets done — this is it.

About the Role

As an Associate Principal – Organisational Design, you’ll play a leading role in designing the organisations of the future.

You’ll guide major transformation programmes, shaping operating models, governance, structures and roles. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, partner with Principals and Senior Principals, and take full ownership of OD workstreams that have real impact on how clients operate.

This is a step up from Senior Consultant — with more responsibility, more visibility, and more influence.

What You’ll Lead

Organisation Design Leadership

  • Lead significant OD workstreams across complex, multi‑layered transformation programmes
  • Shape tailored OD approaches aligned to strategic context
  • Design operating models, organisational structures, governance layers and role clarity
  • Ensure outputs are evidence‑based, practical and ready for real‑world implementation

Client Advisory

  • Build trusted, senior‑level relationships across client organisations
  • Lead workshops, meetings and decision‑making forums
  • Advise leaders on organisational trade‑offs, risks and strategic implications
  • Partner with Senior Principals and Principals on relationship strategy and delivery

Delivery Oversight & Quality

  • Own quality and consistency of all OD deliverables in your workstreams
  • Provide direction and guidance to project teams
  • Ensure all work aligns to Korn Ferry OD methodologies
  • Proactively identify and manage delivery risks, issues and dependencies

Team Leadership & Development

  • Coach and develop Senior Consultants and Consultants
  • Provide clear feedback, direction and support
  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative and high‑performing environment

Capability Building

  • Contribute to evolving Korn Ferry’s OD tools, methods and IP
  • Share insights and best practice across the Consulting community
  • Support internal initiatives that strengthen our OD proposition

What You’ll Bring

  • Deep experience in organisation design and operating model development
  • A strong consulting skillset and a proven record of leading OD workstreams
  • Credibility with senior stakeholders and confidence advising leaders
  • Excellent structured problem‑solving capability
  • Strong facilitation skills — especially at senior levels
  • A collaborative, inclusive leadership style
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity, pressure and change
  • Tech fluency — especially across Microsoft Office and AI‑enabled tools (Copilot, ChatGPT)

Qualifications:

  • 5–8 years post‑graduation experience in consulting or equivalent internal OD roles
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience); advanced degree welcome
